About the Texans for Tah-Tahs
This will be our 6th Annual Susan G. Komen 3-Day, 60 Mile Breast Cancer Walk. Previously, we've participated in walks in Philly, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Boston. This year... (Drum Roll)... We're SAN DIEGO bound! Even with the blisters, aching muscles and fundraising efforts, it's so worth it to us!
In 2010, the Texans for Tah-Tahs was comprised of 14 Austinites. We want to double our team for 2011. Join us for a weekend that promises to be rewarding and memorable!
The net proceeds from the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure™ are invested in breast cancer research and community programs.
Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the CureŽ and the Komen 3-Day for the Cure, the organization has invested more than $1.3 billion to fulfill its promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
